One of many great little lakes in the area. Trixie loved it and watching the beavers fishing

Would not recommend. Loaded with mosquitos and the "lake" was more of a pond. Murky water with inaccessible shoreline. Had to go through knee deep silt in order to swim. Lots of OHV activity even at night so noise was an issue.

About Catfish Lake
Catfish Lake, nestled in a region renowned for its charming array of small lakes, offers a blend of natural beauty and rustic adventure. While the shoreline may be a little challenging, often obscured by knee-deep silt, the area provides a unique setting for nature enthusiasts. The lake is notably rich with wildlife; visitors have frequently reported sightings of beavers engaging in their daily activities, an enchanting sight amidst the natural backdrop. However, those who wish to enjoy a more serene environment should be prepared for the hum of OHV activity, which can sometimes continue into the late hours.
