Reviews of Lake Lower sardine lake

Beautiful clear mountain lake. Came on a Sunday and it wasn’t busy at all and the weather was great for it. Easy access to the lower lake and a nice little hike up to the upper lake. Spent the bulk of our time at the upper lake at it was great. There are some awesome rocks to jump off and a lot of nice little spots to tuck yourself into for the day. Also a very nice waterfall!

Hidden gem nested in the high Sierra. Love to wake up to the lake view of the Butte covered with snow. So peaceful, serene and beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous lake! Crystal clear. Beautiful weather for August.

It was beautiful. Especially Sardine Lake. We stayed in the campground. Spot 26. Which was right on the main road but close the the pit toilets. Nice campground. Spots not real big. But reasonably priced. Not far off 49. Definitely would go back.
