This is a really pleasant and easy to walk around Lake. There is barely any inclines so it's great for people with limited mobility. It gets some sun on one side and the shady on the other. There is a lot of interesting bird life, waterfowl and as others have mentioned some raccoons. Squirrels too!

This small lake hidden amongst trees and shrubs is one of the best places to watch birds I've seen. There is a family of permanently resident raccoons at the nothern edge of the lake basin and lots of squirrels.

My second favorite lake in the Chain of Lakes. South Lake is a smaller, more manageable size, but North Lake ain’t bad!
