I didn't have time to explore Strawberry Hill in the middle, but Stow Lake is still beautiful, and perfectly placed near the middle of the Golden Gate Park. It seemed less crowded than other places in the park also.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. It’s free to visit, they have several waking and hiking paths! We absolutely loved our visit here. It was nice to feel like we were out of the city. There’s lush vegetation and lots of wildlife. There is lots of parking in the area. Lots of beautiful places for photo taking! There several cool waterfalls, architectural buildings, and bridges :) If you hike to the top of a large hill/tiny mountain (girl it’s a little hike for sure) there’s a gorgeous spot to have a picnic :)

Absolutely gorgeous lake and surrounding area of the Golden Gate park! We love renting the pedal boats and going around the beautiful lake!
