White Bear Lake is the second largest lake in the Twin Cities metro area. The lake is the top lake in it's drainage basin, and it has a small littoral area for runoff. This helps keep the lake waters clean and clear. White Bear lake is a sailing mecca with sailboat races scheduled almost every day of the week during the summer. The lake is also popular for paddle sports such as canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The lake has several species of fish, including, sunfish, bass, northern pike, walleyes, as well as tiger muskies that make for good fishing. The lake is also popular for motor boats, including pontoons, and water ski boats. It is not uncommon to see airplanes land and take off from the lake.

One of the best lakes in the twin cities area. 2400+ acres, clear water, a few beaches around the lake, only a couple public launches, sand bars all over to hang out at. County park launch could use triple the parking spaces installed as the launch always has a line of people loading or unloading boats all day.

This is a community of Family and Friends. It seems like every where you go some one know someone. White Bear Lake is a clean lake with lots of different public beaches. Lots of local family owned restaurants. It’s always a pleasure to walk and ride around White Bear Lake.
