Beautiful park and lake. Has swimming beach, playground, picnic tables, benches to sit on, restroom facilities, paved path and boat launch. No lifeguard on duty. The beach is clean. The water was warmer than I expected. The sand is really soft (in less rocky areas of beach). Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Have fun!

High pressure lake. A lot of boaters and jets skiers. Didn't catch too much fishes here

Great fishing! Got a 19" Bass which unfortunately was under the regulated size so he went back. Pan fish... Crappies and Sun fish are great size. Even got a decent Walleye. No fancy lures needed....minnow, leach, nightcrawler. Best biting between dusk and dark. Bite seems to turn off about an hour after dark.

Fantastic lake but could be better. There really should be a longer dock to tie up to. Don't bother coming here to fish on the weekends. This lake is a prime spot for water sports. Best to fish here on the weekdays. The bass are great here. If you're new to boating, DO NOT come on the weekends. There are so many boat owners that do not know how to backup a trailer or how to load and unload a boat. This is a very busy access and you can wait sometimes over an hour for a parking spot. It's best to get quick and confident in your launching and landing skills on the weekends before even considering coming on the weekend. Practice backing up in a parking lot or something but please stay away if you are not confident in your skills. Someone hit my parked trailer while I was fishing last year and did not leave a note. Again, stay away if you are inexperienced.
