I like to go here and water the trails with my family. We find all kinds of fun things, like shells and rocks. There isnt much trash, but it takes a village sometimes so we pick it up. There is usually a lot of wildlife to watch and you can fish off the docks. Today we saw a lot of dragon flies skimming the water (depositing eggs). There is a beach but I've never been over there, I'm a red head, so the sun and I dont get along. But the trail is red head friendly, lots of shade.

Better than most city lakes, a lot of nature. They have multiple bathrooms and picnic areas. 1 sand volleyball area. Trail paths through woods around the lake. Great for kids or anyone looking for a low key spot to relax with plenty of space. The lake itself is pretty decent size if you can get out on it with inflatables
