It's a strange lake that seems man made, which always strikes me as strange in a land with so many natural lakes. It's behind a business, so i felt like I was trespassing. But there is a nice picnic shelter, play areas, walking trails, and it was fun being able to say I visited Lochness.

Nice park but fishing sucks unless you want very small bullheads
About Lochness Lake
Nestled discreetly behind a local business, Lochness Lake offers a curious blend of mystery and leisure. Its intriguing name might catch your attention first, evoking tales of legendary aquatic creatures, which adds a playful touch to any visit here. True to its reputation, some visitors claim elusive sightings beneath its waters, sparking imaginations of local lore. This somewhat mysterious, seemingly man-made lake presents a juxtaposition against its natural counterparts spread across the region. Despite its industrial backdrop, Lochness Lake is bordered by inviting walking trails, making it an excellent spot for a casual stroll, complete with scenic views and the company of a furry friend. The well-kept picnic shelter and children's play areas offer an inviting space for family outings, picnics, or simply lounging in the mild sun. For angling enthusiasts, the lake's fish population is a highlight, albeit a mixed one. While some report fruitful catches of small fish close to the dock, others recommend tempering expectations if big game is the goal. Worms seem to be the preferred bait, promising a rewarding experience for those who enjoy the simplicity of fishing in a serene environment. Although the water levels are low, Lochness Lake retains its charm, leaving an impression of discovery for every visitor. Whether you’re here to bask in the curious tales, enjoy a peaceful day out, or toss a line, Lochness Lake offers a unique spot in the Great Lakes land.
