Awesome lake for a variety of wind sports from sailing to windsurfing and winging. Doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter ❄️ there’s something for everyone. Even if it’s just people watching.

Lake Calhoun is a beautiful lake to walk or bike around and for boating.

I visited on 5/12/2024 on Mother’s Day! Pimento Jamaican restaurant had a long line. I enjoyed the chicken patty and jerk chicken. The view is incredible. You can rent boats, walk around, and enjoy the music. You can sit in a shaded area or by the sun. I chose the sun. Absolutely amazing. I will return!

One of my favorite lakes in Minneapolis, with nice, separate walking and biking trails around the entirety of the lake. These trails also connect to the beaches and other lakes in the vicinity. The water is clear the times I have went, and you can rent canoes to explore the lake.
