Really nice park in the middle of the city, but because of that parking is often a nightmare (even in the pay lots) and its almost not even fun because you're just battling crowds, trying not to get run over by bikers and runners and if you want to take photos there's always random people in them. I recommend going on a weekday if possible, especially in the morning.

We love Lake Nokomis, the trails are relaxing, there are lots of parking options and there are nice shaded areas. You can bike, run or just walk around the lake in this area. There are trails for bike and trails for running or hiking. You can rent kayaks, paddleboards and other water related equipment. Their beach is small, but nice and there were lots of people there. We try to hit lake nomokis wheb we are in the area.
