It is a lovely trail area to walk around, and there is a park nearby for kids to play on. There is no fishing at this lake, so if you want to go fishing, try going up north. According to the Star Trib, any lake is not safe to swim in, not just this one in particular.

Great place for kids nice Park to walk your dog but if you're going to fish just keep your fishing pole in your trunk.

Just bullheads off the dock. Surely thousands of them in this brown water lake. Not worth the trip
