I enjoy this park and the trails around it almost daily. I see mountain bikes on the higher trails. Plenty of inlets for fishing. Tons of kayakers but mostly walkers. Even an art stop to create art rocks or pieces for the fairy villages.

This is a lovely paddling trail that my husband and I enjoy often in our kayaks. The wildlife is abundant and beautiful. We like to enjoy this trail on a nice spring or fall day. Unless you're able to withstand the heat in the summer, it's probably not the best place to visit in the summer as you aren't able to jump in and enjoy the water due to the wildlife. Some parts of the trail can get thick with the water plant life but is passable. You can also get respite from the sun as you paddle through occasional groves of cypress trees. My husband and I aren't hard-core kayakers so anyone in fairly good physical condition can kayak this trail.
