Beautiful lake. Well maintained trails, picnic area, playground, fishing fingers on the lake for bank fisherman. Floating dock and a place to launch your kayak. Very peaceful with pretty sunsets. Love this place. Lots of wildlife to view, bird watch, and photograph.

This hidden gem is one of my favorites places to visit in Tallahassee. If you need a place to disconnect, kayak, mountain bike, fish or just do some yoga this place has it all! There are about 6 fingers that extend into the lake that you can hangout at, beautiful nature trails and wildlife teeming everywhere. Also, if you walk far enough down the trail you will get to see the most gorgeous and astonishing wooden bridge that runs right next to the train tracks! If you’ve never been, definitely add this to your list!!

Beautiful place for a walk or a run. The trail wraps around the lake so you don't have to turn around! There is a railroad near as well if you're the type to take those railroad pics!

Walk here almost daily. Beautifully maintained with lots of wildlife.

It's Always peaceful at Piney Z!!! Beautiful atmosphere and the movement and sounds of the lake are so tranquil. You don't have to go too far to getaway from the everyday grind of life...and just relax.
