No accessible camp sites. Appears to be mainly used for target practice as many clay pigeons and spent shells were found. Loads of trash left behind. No good reason to visit unless water is needed.

Definitely requires a very capable 4wd to get anywhere near lakes. Dispursed camp sites in various locations.

About Eagle Lakes
Nestled amidst rugged terrain, Eagle Lakes offers an off-the-beaten-path adventure for those equipped with a capable 4WD and a spirit for rustic exploration. Known more for its wildness than for traditional recreation, the area surrounding Eagle Lakes is rugged and undeveloped, appealing to those who appreciate untamed nature. Visitors have noted the prevalence of shooting sports in the area, indicating its popularity for target practice. However, this can detract from its natural beauty, as spent shells and clay pigeons can be found scattered around. The lake is remote, which is a double-edged sword: it offers seclusion but comes with accessibility challenges and a lack of amenities. Dispersed campsites are available but tend to accumulate litter, impacting the pristine nature that one might expect in more curated environments. While the lake lacks traditional attractions, those seeking a raw and unrefined experience might find Eagle Lakes intriguing.
