Bull creek is a nice interior park area within the city limits of Austin, Texas. It has both family areas and rural areas that are great for letting the pets off leash. Two draw backs that parents should be aware of; 1. Don't let your children stray out of sight in these areas. Remember the water can be a friend especially when it's hot. BUT water safety is paramount. Secondly these areas, within the City, have in the past attracted some undesirable type personalities. Please monitor your youngsters and report ANY strange behavior in this area immediately! APD. has targeted these locations for extra enforcement in the past. Last but not least if you suspect whether or not the water quality is of concern, by all means contact our State Water Quality Control Board and check their most recent testing information! Otherwise enjoy our beautiful resources, that's precisely why they have been set aside and protected for all of us!
