Beautiful, quiet day on the lake. Loved seeing the Y kiddos on the lake and hearing them on shore. Easy in and out with grass in the side of the boat landing.

This lake is TERRIBLE this summer. Algae bloom is really really bad, and smells. Really sad to see the lake like this

Great boatlanding that also has access to the Rice Creek chain of lakes. I kayaked here many times, and it is beautiful.
About Peltier Lake
Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Minnesota, Peltier Lake offers visitors a tranquil escape amidst nature. Although some visitors have reported issues with algae blooms, particularly during the summer months, the lake remains a popular destination for boating enthusiasts. The well-maintained boat landing offers easy access to the lake, as well as the connecting Rice Creek chain of lakes, making it a convenient spot for a day of exploration on water. Kayakers will find the waters ideal for paddling, offering serene views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, it's essential to keep in mind the lake's low water levels and thick weed patches, especially if you're planning on fishing or hunting during the fall. Seasoned anglers suggest thoroughly understanding the lake's layout for a successful fishing trip, as the fish population has dwindled over the years. Despite these challenges, Peltier Lake continues to captivate visitors with its quiet charm, beautiful surroundings, and opportunities for water-based activities including kayaking and paddle boating. The lake's calm aura and natural beauty make it a worthwhile stop for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Minnesota's great outdoors.
