I love walking around this park. While Raging Waters somewhat detracts from the natural beauty, walking along the lake's shore is great for bird and turtle lovers alike. There are play structures and picnic areas. It was a little flooded last time I went here, but I don't think there's much to be done about that (they did seem to be pumping water from the flooded area). A bit of work should be done to remove invasive plants in order to preserve the native plants and keep this lovely park as lovely as it is.

Beautiful place to spend the afternoon. Parking is $6. Currently (Sep 2017) the lake is off limits and a few of the paths around the lake are closes. The park on the north side of the lake has the best kids playground.
