The beauty of this place is indescribable; the water is clean and warm. While swimming is not allowed, you can walk along the shore in the clean, warm water. There are clean restrooms, chairs, and pavilions available. You can bring your own boat for a ride, although boat rentals are also available. I visited during the 4th of July, and the weather was perfect with a refreshing breeze that kept the summer heat at bay. There is a large parking area with plenty of capacity. Parking entrance fee for cars without boats is $12.
