The beauty of this place is indescribable; the water is clean and warm. While swimming is not allowed, you can walk along the shore in the clean, warm water. There are clean restrooms, chairs, and pavilions available. You can bring your own boat for a ride, although boat rentals are also available. I visited during the 4th of July, and the weather was perfect with a refreshing breeze that kept the summer heat at bay. There is a large parking area with plenty of capacity. Parking entrance fee for cars without boats is $12.

One of the best parks to reach within 30 miles of LA and 30 miles of OC. Fishing, picnics, camping, beautiful lakes.

This man-made lake offers an excellent backdrop for the mountains and hills beyond. There are rentals available for kayaks and paddle boats nearby. Bring a hat and sunscreen if visiting in the summer.

Love walking here, feel safe walking by myself. The park is so clean and well preserved. The walk ways are kept up, which is nice for walkers and runners. There is a cost for parking. I start at Norns Cafe, which is free to park. So many paths to choose from. This place is well patrol by police and park ranger.
