A stunning lake nestled near mountains, surrounded by lush greenery in March and early April. It’s a popular spot for fishing, with sightings of large fish carcasses along the lake’s edge means there are big fishes in the lake. Ample parking lots are available, and it’s an excellent location for bird watching. The park remains open until dusk, with a $6 entry fee.

Had a really nice time at this park! There is a $6 entrance fee for the day(until sunset). There are several picnic areas, fishing, hiking, children’s play structures and we saw signs for camping and horse back riding. We had a great time on the trail and came across many hikers. The pond was a nice view and there were many families around enjoying. The drive was also really nice, and there are a couple different parking lots.

It is nice to walk or jog on the trail around this little beautiful man made pond. We saw an egret and other water birds. There are porta-potties everywhere in addition to a restroom building near the gazebo. Some part of the trail is kind of muddy after the recent series of storms. And there start to be yellow wild flowers here and there.
