We were there for fishing and scenery. We were amazed to see an eagle grab a fish off of Jethro's line and fly away for a fresh lunch. We love the views, and this event was a once in a lifetime experience. You've got to visit. The kayaking looked awesome.

A beautiful, quite lake. We wanted to take our dog on a walk & enjoy our day. Unfortunately we did not find a place. The shore area looks privately owned. No public walking trails? No public picnic areas? We sat in our car and enjoyed the view for a short time. Meanwhile, our dog sat in the back seat, very unhappy.

Nice and relaxing. Better if you have a boat and can get on the lake. You can rent the boats and the rainbow lake resort.
