Reviews of Lake Show low lake

Awesome lake, great for views, hiking, camping, small boats, kayaks, paddle boards, swimming and fishing! Clear clean water, lots of birds and squirrels, and other amenities! Right by a main road but still feels quiet and tranquil! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because people fishing need to do a better job of picking up trash and old unusable or broken line.

The road getting to the fishing dock was a bit bumpy, so drive carefully. We had friends helping our grandson (8) figure out fishing. The dock was steady and uncrowded a perfect spot to learn. As luck would have it, they were rewarded with a couple of nice fish.

On a mountain bike ride I discovered this lake! Mid June and although it was windy, there were a few boats and kayaks on the water. A few families fishing skiing the rocky shore. Almost no beach land with Steep banks.

Walked half the path around the lake. The path was well designed and had some great views. The kids liked it. A good way to spend a few hours.

This is a city lake so no day use fees. Only a fee if you want to use/reserve a camp ground. AZ Game & Fish - fishing permit is still required. There was plenty of room on the shore to fish from and parking on both sides of the lake.
