Wildlife plenty , lake has ALLIGATORS as posted. East side of lake covered in moss. And a pier accessible from parking lot. The open area looks clean and clear as many kayaks abound during our visit. We chose NOT to wade thru moss and muck. West side has boat ramp and piers to open waters. Congested the days we were here so no fishing either. Drive thru sites in Raven Hill section are small , uneven pavement. Hook ups are close to pavement. Picnic tables are concrete. BRING ALOT OF BLOCKING MATERIAL DUE TO UNEVEN SITES. Our site was heavily littered with clothing , bottle caps and general trash. With a little cleaning / clearing of debris this place could remarkable.

This has to be one of the most beautiful state parks. It is also very clean with clean facilities. The staff is very helpful. I don't think there is a space without shade. Very peaceful place.

Fantastic place for all ages. Great place for all the ones who like walk, run and make cross country. Road tracks to challenge your skills way up and down the Hills in the middle of the Forest. The only thing that happens is, you got to pay at the entry of park $5.00 admission per person Also, camping daily or overnight at the side of the lake...........recommended
