Beautiful. Had a great time. Not many people. You can rent kayaks and paddle board, they have life jackets for adults and children. Also some good fishing.

Park is ok. Went there to fish. Been there a few times now. The fishing off of the pier is poor. Water surrounding it is very shallow. Not a lot of fish holding structure along the accessible bank either, but water is deeper. Better off in a kayak to get to the otherwise inaccessible other side, and creek, which are loaded with cover. Park also full of rude and/or inexperienced anglers who will cut you off, and/or crowd you. Also, around 3-4 o'clock the photographers, and their clients basically take the place over, and there is nowhere left to fish. But, was able to hook a couple of small largemouth. 1 around 1 pound and 1 a little bit smaller than that. Pictured is the smaller one. I dropped the bigger one back in the water as I was trying to get my phone out of my pocket to take a pic. They cut my photo. The original shows the whole fish.
