Chatterton Dairy Ashford Hike and Bike Trail and Addicks Dam Road Southeast Hiking Trail. Reddleshire Lane bridge to the Addicks Dam road, from there I hiked the Bear Creek to Chatterton trail. There is a trail that surrounds the wetland area, saw some fish activity in the water. Definitely worth a try if you’re into the outdoors!

My go to jogging spot. If you want to get away from people this is my top pick. Head east away from the subdivisions and you usually have the place to yourself. I see deer often, once a wolf, hawks and the occasional rabbit. It's a good spot to burn a few miles without having to dodge people. The only downside is since it's a gravel road and a bit uneven in spots you could twist an ankle and find yourself a.long way back. The views are great too: a few lakes (very shallow wetlands) and thick forrest. I see people coming.and going from the pond areas near the suburban section but haven't done exploration on foot. By drone it goes back for miles. It's likely not for public use so be cautious.

The dam is good for people who live upstream like me, but for those that live downstream this dam causes the bayous to flood almost every time there’s a release.

You can't fish here, why the heck not. Fish or not fish. Let me be the judge of that....
