Park needs to be cleaned asap. The animals are eating plastic. There’s ducks and turtles getting stuck because the park is so dirty there’s an excessive amount of trash out there in the water with no where for any of the animals in the water to swim on that side and trying to eat it. Not a good sight for anyone or anything living around or in the water.

When I first started doing nature and animal photography this was a great place with ducks and geese and turtles as well as a nice fountain and some other scenery. I think one of my favorite pictures that I have ever taken of a chipmunk was on my second visit there.

Nice lake. Do NOT eat the fish that you catch. Word to the wise.
About French Lake
Nestled in a serene environment, French Lake offers a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and families. A popular spot for photography enthusiasts, the lake was once a pristine site for capturing stunning images of ducks, geese, turtles, and more amidst a tranquil backdrop. However, the beauty of French Lake is currently marred by a pressing environmental concern: pollution. Litter has become a significant issue, impacting the local wildlife and marring the natural beauty. Nevertheless, the site remains a haven for relaxation, offering visitors a soothing atmosphere with its abundant birdlife and calming waters. While fishing is a common activity at the lake, caution is advised regarding the consumption of fish due to potential contamination. Despite its challenges, French Lake continues to be a valued escape for those seeking peace and scenic views.
