There’s only one path to this location and it’s locked up tight behind a fence with a no trespassing sign. Idk who owns it, who locked it up or why, but it’s entirely inaccessible. There’s no information on when or if it’s open either.

My dog refused to step foot in the water—but he dove repeatedly into the frothy, smelly, chunky Rio Grande. I enjoyed the water's color, though. It's a striking turquoise not exactly found in nature. Great if you're a photographer or enjoy pretending to be a photogrqpher as I do. Don't drink it unless you want special powers.

Awesome place. Be careful though. snakes, private property and you could get stuck in the sand

A little bit of off-roading to get there, but was worth it. Definitely some big cats in there.
