Beautiful place to fish...actually catching is hit or miss..some trout on lures and huge reds on the bottom withfresh and cut bait..huge fish in there..more fishing than catching though...lots of wildlife..seriously..be careful, especially after dark..

Trash everywhere. To the landowners, I am sorry that people do not respect nature, or your property or, ironically the habitat of the fish they are there to try and catch.

Great Lil fishing spot when it's not too crowded
About Salt Bayou
Tucked away in the serene region of Salt Bayou is a hidden gem for fishing enthusiasts. With its expansive waters, Salt Bayou is renowned for its elusive trout and colossal redfish, making it a sought-after spot for both seasoned anglers and hopeful novices. The lake is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, offering a unique opportunity for nature lovers to bask in its untouched beauty.
