It is a really nice lake with a fun park. The only bad thing is the water is green but it is fine. There was no sea weed and it was really sandy.

Rental equipment is not properly maintained. There is no direct supervision of activities. Power boats & jet skis are allowed free reign on the lake while non powered water craft are left in their wake to capsize. This place should be reported to the DNR. The caretakers do not do anything but sit on a porch to collect money.

Great swimming, fishing, boating, picnicking, playing park/lake! My kids and I LOVE going here!
About Duck Lake
Nestled in the heart of Southern Minnesota, Duck Lake is a charming yet quirky spot for a day of outdoor fun. Despite the green-hued waters that are all too familiar in the region, the lake proudly offers an inviting, sandy beach that is perfect for swimmers, sunbathers, and sandcastle architects alike. Families flock to the neighboring park, where wide-open spaces and picnic areas provide endless opportunities for a plethora of activities. If fishing is on the agenda, Duck Lake delivers. The lake promises a memorable first-catch experience, even if the water is a bit chilly at times. Boating enthusiasts will find excitement here as well, although a word of caution — the lake can be quite active with power boats and jet skis zipping about. Unfortunately, this can prove challenging for non-motorized watercraft users trying to navigate the wake. While equipment rentals are available, reports indicate the need for better maintenance and supervision of activities. It's an easy-going establishment where the caretakers have a more laid-back approach, often collecting entrance fees and ensuring that everyone is having a good time. So, if you're ready for a slice of recreation under the Minnesota sun, Duck Lake and its vibrant community of RV adventurers eagerly await.
