This place Is nice to go for a swim in the spring or summer but you need to get there pretty early for a good parking spot, otherwise you have a long walk on the hot pavement, same with on the beach itself, it is pretty hard to get a good spot. But you can find some pretty cool things on the bottom of the lake.

Larger lake and plenty of parking available. There are outside biffy type places to go to the bathroom at the boat launch. There are no places to pull up or eat along the lake. Not much of a recreational lake. The Viking ship is fun to see if it's out when you are on the lake.
