The park is well kept by the parks department. Weekend very busy. There are rules for pets yet few people follow them, dogs are off lease and in the beach which is prohibited with a big sign.

Lake is cool. Fishing isn't the greatest honestly. The lake is super super weedy. You can see the tiny pan fish, but they're too smart to bite anything. Don't waste your time on the fishing dock or on the shore, you won't catch anything. The beach here is pretty nice. They do a good job maintaining it; there's also a playground right there so your tiny human companion can swim and play and get all worn out. It's great 👍

Great panfishing! Many small sunnies and a few large ones that we kept and fried. Everything was 5 stars except 2 tweakers on a jet ski releasing oil into the water next to us.
About Twin Lakes
Nestled in the heart of nature, Twin Lakes is a charming getaway, offering visitors a blend of recreational activities and picturesque scenery. Despite the occasional challenge of overgrown weeds, the lakes are a haven for families and fishing enthusiasts alike. The shoreline is home to a delightful beach, perfect for sunbathing and families with children, complete with a nearby playground to burn off extra energy. Although fishing can be tricky due to smart panfish, dedicated anglers may find success by venturing beyond the docks. Boaters are welcomed with open waters that are perfect for leisurely cruises rather than high-speed adventures, making it an ideal location for learning or enjoying a peaceful day on the lake. While some issues with pet management are noted, the park overall is well maintained by the local parks department. Twin Lakes offers a laid-back atmosphere for those seeking a relaxing escape from the bustle of life.
