Lots of wildlife. Not a lot of fishing room when water level is low. Otherwise not a place you’ll probably run into anyone so that’s nice.

This use to be my best fishing spot but now the water is so low you catch anything for hours at a time. But it's still a beautiful place.

Location had not been visited for trash removal recently. Trash bin was overflowing. Boardwalk in severely neglected and in need of repairs. Borderline dangerous.
About Lake Drain
Located off the beaten path, Lake Drain offers a serene escape into nature, perfect for those seeking solitude and wildlife viewing. The lake, once celebrated as a top fishing destination, has seen water levels decrease over time, presenting challenges for anglers hopeful for a big catch. Despite its current low water conditions, the area remains a picturesque site for peaceful reflection and appreciation of the surrounding wildlife. However, visitors should note some issues with maintenance, such as an overflowing trash bin and a neglected boardwalk, which might render some areas less accessible or even unsafe. Nonetheless, Lake Drain's remote beauty and calming environment make it a worthwhile spot for visitors who value natural tranquility over convenience or amenities.
