Being full-time RV’ers who love paddling, we were introduced to Ocheesee Pond back in 2021. Our travels brought us back to this area (April 2023) and we couldn’t wait to get our boats in the water. We managed 2 separate trips on the paddling trail. Highly recommend. @nspiredadventures.

The pictures of Ocheesee Pond are all beautiful but they can't touch the feeling you get when slowly drifting thru the Cypress trees in your boat trying to catch the elusive fish offered up to the fishing enthusiasts. Hot summer days become shaded, calm and cool and feeling so relaxed it's hard to remember your there to fish. I highly recommend you go.

This pond has had some great bass fishing in the past. This year the 12 of us spent 7 days fishing and for the most part each of us caught 1 to 2 bass per day fishing 12 hours a day. The ones we caught were very skinny. We had a great time fishing, just don't plan on catching many. Needs some help at state level to help restore to how it use to be.

Fishing enthusiasts will find Ocheesee Pond a bit of a nostalgic challenge.
