The lake is very nice to visit although, we went there with our boy scout troops, we did a 2 day camp out, they really need to have someone controlled the noise pollution there they are too many people who party until 3 in the morning with loud music, Then at the brink of dawn there are 12 dozen dirt biker all over the place until the sun goes down. Other than that it was a very beautiful place to visit but the noise pollution needs to be addressed!

About Lake Pillsbury
Nestled in the serene and picturesque landscapes of Northern California is Lake Pillsbury, a man-made gem offering a multitude of recreational activities amidst natural beauty. Surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills, this lake attracts visitors yearning for both adventure and tranquility. Visitors can indulge in a variety of activities such as boating, fishing, and hiking along the scenic trails that hug the lake's perimeter. For those who cherish summer escapades, the lake offers plenty of space for paddleboarding and swimming, though it's worth noting that shade can be sparse during the hotter months. Campgrounds around the lake provide ample opportunities for overnight stays, although some adventurous spirits might prefer the thrill of a cabin stay. Nevertheless, for those seeking connectivity, the gatehouse provides Wi-Fi access. Lake Pillsbury, while overwhelmingly beautiful and engaging, might serve best those prepared for a robust, active visit rather than a purely tranquil escape unless outside of peak party times.
