Great place for short and easy hikes and walking. Lots of picnic benches and tables, a swimming area, horseshoe pits, and well-kept bathrooms. As others have mentioned, although it's right next to the freeway, it feels secluded and picturesque. Great place to bring your dogs, as there are plenty of trashcans around, lots of walking paths, and plenty of grass. However, dogs are not allowed on the beach. There is a fee for use. A day pass is $8, with different fees for different uses.

Lovely area for both short and longer walks/hikes/runs, clean if basic bathrooms, and picnic tables. Well maintained and despite being near the highway, feels quiet and secluded.

Nice grass area with shade, easy access for paddle boarding would have rated our day a Five, until a group showed up, loud F bombs, smoking, just no regard for being courteous.
