Let me IN. ☹️ Rowena Reservoir is a very picturesque lake that provides a 360-degree view of the neighborhood. It is owned by DWP, they drained and refurbished with a new 10-million gallon reservoir that is largely underground now, it's fenced off and restricted for public access (for at least 9 yrs) despite strong protests from the locals to open it. DWP explained that chlorination and electrical equipment made the site too dangerous to open it to the public. Visitors and locals can only ogle this beautiful oasis from the outside the seven foot green fence. Hence, the one star review. Overall, it’s beautiful to ogle behind the fence but you won’t enjoy it to the fullest.
