Love this cool Pasadena gem. There are a few low key hiking trails. These hiking trails are not crowded and very minimal people walking around or on bikes. First tunnel you find on the left you will find the stairs down to the infamous "devils gate". It's pretty exhilarating to go down to this spot. If you dare, you can even enter inside. I have been inside once when I was thin and the gate was closed. I slipped right in between the gates only to find alot of graffiti, trash, and witch craft symbols. Lol But passing the first tunnel you will find trails and also a cool little bridge. Of course you can also enjoy views of dam but beware of coyotes. Seen one today.

I've been here several times during the day and this was my first time at night. Not gonna lie being there alone at midnight is a bit creepy but exhilarating. I didn't go down the trails at night but during the day I have. You can walk down a ways beneath the freeways. Lots of cool areas to explore just be careful at night because it felt like I was being watched. Specially cus there are cameras next to the giant steel door. Wonder what's behind it or rather who is watching from behind that door???

Of hikes I’ve been on, this one was decent especially since it was in an overcrowded city. I started at the bend in Parkview Avenue near the Brookside Golf and County Club. The path goes along the side of the golf course and was well traveled. Tree covered and flowers in bloom! Maybe a mile or so, depending on how far you want to go.
