Such a beautiful and quiet place to go. Boulder Campground is just up the road from Antelope, so you have several camping locations in the general vicinity that offer campsites for travel trailers, fire ring, picnic table (s) and restrooms. It's pet friendly so long as you pick up their waste and keep them leashed.

Such a beautiful lake!! Nice water to swim in. I'm hoping the next time we visit I'd find a better place to swim like a shore to lay out towels and just step into the water without having to walk through grass. Even still, I'd still go again .

About Antelope Lake

This serene lake offers a peaceful retreat away from bustling city life, inviting visitors to relish in its crystal-clear waters and scenic surroundings. Antelope Lake is particularly favored for its excellent fishing opportunities. Anglers can expect to catch trout and bass, making it a top destination for both seasoned fishermen and families looking to introduce children to fishing. The lake's smaller size means it is not suited for high-speed water sports, but it is perfect for kayaking, ensuring a calm and leisurely exploration of the lake's nooks and crannies. For those who want to immerse themselves in nature completely, the nearby Boulder Campground and adjacent sites provide excellent camping options. The campgrounds are well-equipped for trailers and offer pet-friendly sites—just remember to keep furry friends leashed. Aside from fishing, the lake is also great for swimming. One of the highlights of visiting Antelope Lake is the abundant wildlife and breathtaking sunsets. Whether you're enjoying a relaxing day by the water or a quiet evening by the campfire, the stunning natural beauty is bound to captivate you. While Antelope Lake maintains its charm with minimal development, nearby Lake Almanor offers additional amenities, including restaurants, bars, and even golf. This makes it easy to pivot between secluded serenity and more lively recreational activities. When planning your trip to Antelope Lake, remember to practice caution on the roads, as wildlife is abundant and pedestrian traffic is common. The surrounding area boasts several other beautiful lakes, such as Lake Davis and Frenchman’s Lake, which also offer fantastic fishing and camping experiences.
