Road trip solo year 2001 month was maybe April. Stopped here to fish and camp out for a day night, fished the two available shore spots and caught a couple bass off of a french fry worm rigged weedless. I went to start up my pos vanagon and battery was kerplunk spent another night, next day a guy named Denver I think, pulled up to fish, I asked him for a jump after fishing, we fished together for a couple hours, missed a lunker, he joked and said I out fished him at his own hole. Got a jump and left the scene, thanks man!

Been fishing here since I was a kid. Most of the bass are off to the left. I never have any luck at the dock

The view from the dock is awesome. You can fish here as well. Interesting location, but a good time!
About Dead Lake
Nestled in a secluded part of the countryside, Dead Lake offers a unique blend of tranquility and enigmatic charm that pulls travelers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. For those looking to cast their lines, the lake provides a beautiful setting, where fishermen can indulge in catching bass, often off the left side of the shore, though the dock offers equally stunning vistas. Visitors have shared tales of their solitary expeditions turning into unexpectedly delightful encounters. The lake’s peaceful ambiance is punctuated by stories of its haunted reputation, making it a favored spot not only for fishermen but also for those intrigued by the supernatural. The area itself might be a bit rough due to pot-holed roads, but this only enhances the sense of adventure for those seeking a more rustic experience. With basic amenities like a boat ramp and a dock, it remains a charming little spot perfect for camping, fishing, or simply enjoying the night under a starry sky, whether you're a seasoned angler or a curious ghost hunter.
