Rollins Lake is the first lake my husband and I “discovered” when we still lived in the Bay Area. We bought a boat shortly after we got married and I bought a lake book and started exploring different places we could go the following Summer to camp with our boat. Rollins Lake was our first camping trip with the boat. We fell in love!! We proceeded to camp at 3 of the 4 campgrounds on Rollins in the subsequent years. We still camp there - even though we’re locals (and have been for 11 years). We love it! Our favorite campground is Peninsula.

Went boating with my sister here for first time...not too crowded. Water fairly clean ,noted several camping opportunities and boat launches . Water skiing and Jet skis allowed here.

I love this lake, it's never super busy, lots of lovely vibes to hang out in. Pity that PG&E destroyed this boating year with their lack of planning, hoping that there will be water in Rollins next year.
