Beautiful little and frequently overlooked lake adjacent to it's much larger and better known sister Hawley Lake. White Mountain tribe charges a fee for any recreational activities including just hiking around this little gem so don't skip getting a permit unless you're feeling really, really lucky.

The forest is beautiful, and the area is nice. But the lake has too much algae , and you can tell there's no upkeep.
About Earl Park Lake
Nestled in the serene landscapes of Arizona's White Mountain region, Earl Park Lake may be smaller and lesser-known than its neighbor, Hawley Lake, but it offers its own unique charm. This tranquil body of water, managed by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, requires visitors to purchase a permit for any recreational activities. While it doesn't boast an abundance of fish due to the flourishing algae, the surrounding picturesque forest and calm waters create a perfect setting for contemplation and peace. Earl Park Lake serves as an idyllic retreat for those seeking solitude and an authentic connection with nature. Despite the need for better upkeep to manage the algae issues, it remains a hidden gem fused with cultural significance, nestled amidst the enchanting Apache land. Its seclusion and tranquil atmosphere make it an appealing choice for those yearning to unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures of natural beauty. Whether you’re an avid hiker, a casual nature lover, or someone looking to appreciate quieter waters, Earl Park Lake stands as a charming testament to the region's untouched wilderness.
