Fool Hollow Lake is a meandering lake with multiple arms to it. Great to explore on kayak, paddle board or other type of small boat. There's an easy (1.8 miles long, total) dirt and gravel walking path around a large portion of the lake. I saw people biking, walking dogs, fishing, and boating. The bathrooms are clean and bright. There are also a number of different ramadas, all well-built and clean, with tables and bar b cues. One larger Ramada that I saw even has a bar or serving area to set up for parties. There's plenty of parking, and a fun looking playground for younger kids. I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful lake. Plenty of places to fish and swim. Also plenty of parking. It was pretty dead when we came there. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest bathrooms we’ve ever seen. That’s probably because it was 7$ a car to enter the lake. This was the only drawback that we came across. It was even more to camp. We only did a day trip though and loved it.

It’s great to be harassed by park rangers here! Most are great but there’s always one and I found her today. I have paid numerous entry fees here before they finally did there job and explained I can use my fishing license on the west side. where were you on that one. I frequent this lake 2-4 days a week I pick up trash every time,I helped a goose that was tied up in fishing line and removed trash and fishing line from the lake! How about actually stocking the lake with fish. Been here over 40 trips to catch 2 bass that’s it lol what a joke and only one time I know of you stocked with a low count of trout. I even helped one of your RV campers just a couple weeks ago when lightning struck a tree by their RV and they couldn’t get slides in because their system was fried from your RV plug’s not being properly grounded. Look don’t be petty and tell me I am abusing my pass for swinging by for 15 min and visiting my family that is paying to stay there for 4 days! I will make sure they stay elsewhere where we are all welcome. I guess local hospitality goes out the window on this one. And to think I was asked at one point to volunteer there!
