Love this camp ground. Clean restrooms, beautiful atmosphere affordable cabins if you don’t want to camp. The views from the cabin are amazing. I love it here and will be back again this month.

Lyman Lake State Park is one of Arizona's hidden park gems. Huge lake that has enough room for boats, kayaks, jet skis, fishing and swimming. Add in the camping sites and life is great. Just wish the state would get the drinking water issues fixed already! It's been over a year now that the water is not drinkable. Usable for showers and washing, but can't drink. Staff is super friendly and helpful both at the camp store and those that work around the park cleaning up sites. Highly recommend a stay here.

Rented a cabin here for the weekend and had a great time. The staff that runs the store and camping areas are excellent and very helpful. The town of St Johns is just down the road for basic supplies if needed or Show Low is 30 mins away.

Stayed 4 days, in the Buffalo Cabin. Ranger Nick, was very nice. The cabins are aging, but are kept up. 1st night, Memorial Day, bathrooms and showers were quite discussing, some people are just slobs. Learned that the water, had lead in it, but there was no signage at our cabin. We have a child with us, so not having warnings about lead in the water is just plain unacceptable. This was our 4th time staying in the cabins, and we would do it again. Heard a rumor, that the 4 lake front cabins might go away, and that's just plain to bad; I'd have no desire to stay in any of the other cabins, so if they go, I will not be back. When we started coming to the lake front cabins about 10 years ago, it was $45.00 a night, it's now $65.00 a night, which I did not mind paying. Please keep the 4 lake front cabins going.

Very nice campground, well kept and clean. Nice little store on site. Staff is very nice. Interesting hikes with petroglyphs. Spotty cell service even with booster. Bring a DVD player if you don't have satellite. If you have a boat or kayak, it will be more enjoyable. The water level is quite low. I'm sure it was really pretty when the reservoir was full. Praying it fills again.
