It's been a very long time since this lake has been as full as it is now. It's wonderful to see it again in all it's glory.

The scenery, the water, and the experience being out on the water were great. There was nobody else there, on the water. There were multiple vehicles that would come down to the boat ramp and just sit there. The dock was at the top of the boat ramp "dry docked" so no where to park our ski's and then also there was no parking for our vehicles once we got our ski's in the water so we also used the top of the boat ramp. The place is definitely neglected, run down, graffiti on everything, no docks or bathrooms, there is law enforcement, and he made sure to check our permits. I told my husband, I would consider this place to be an adult kind of outing not exactly kid friendly. If they could get some programs in order to clean and maintain the grounds that place could be bringing in tons of revenue. I guess there hasn't been a lot of water there in a long time but besides all that I had a great time. I love going on little adventures with my family, it's always a good time.

Natural landscape is quite beautiful. I understand the history of the dam, which is sad in itself. Disappointing to see the destruction and trash around the dam itself. Since the flooding in the 90s this area will never be the same.

There was people trash everywhere you went. The lake is extremely low so water access is ruff without a truck. Fishing was very slow while we were ther; but, nice to have a hook in the water!

It breaks my heart at the destruction of our lake. So that Gilbert can grow. To see all the fish dead and rotting. To know that the water is to contaminated for the wild life to drink from. Water is precious in the desert... And has greater value than money. A dead lake... For a community that will.most likely waste it on swimming pools and Kentucky blue grass for their golf clubs. It's sickening to see.
