Great prices on bait and docking ,staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Nice place to launch your boat, grounds are well maintained. They have a restroom and it is kept very clean. I recommend using them to launch your boat or sitting out on their gazebo and having a nice lunch.

Beautiful place to relax and fishing

A hidden gem of Galveston Bay. A small natural area exists on the Lakes southeast corner near the floodgate. Great bird watching and dolphin watching spot. Less crowded than most places around the Bay.

Landlord SUCKS there. Raises rent then take away the boat cleaning station and claims it's because he didn't install a sand trap filter for the drain. He actually rented out the spaces where the boat wash is at. This tells me his story was a lie. I had to wash out my boat on the ramp between people retrieving their boats. Also, the boat ramp isn't steep enough or deep enough to launch a larger boat there.

One of my favorite spots for kayak fishing because of the options. But I live here and don't like driving far so I may be a little biased. Lol
