Saw two snakes. A rat snake and green snake. Plenty birds and insects. Nice paved trail.

Excellent chance to get out in the fresh air and meet new people! Volunteers are amazing and made this an educational and entertaining visit!

This place was a sewage storage lake for 80 years until the 1980s. It's currently in a hyper eutrophic state. Not too safe to swim or fish in. Hopefully residents near aren't suffering from sicknesses. I would say stay away.

This place is amazing!! Staff is friendly and the birding is a great experience for beginner and professional photographers. We will be frequenting alit more now that we know it’s only about 30 minutes from our home. Thanks Kat and Christopher for your hospitality!!

The effort put into Mitchell Lake over the the past ~10 years is evident. There is a plethora of wildlife to view during your trip. All contributors to this project have done a great job. Keep up the good work!
