Reviews of Lake Elmendorf lake

My son wanted to find a spot to fish so we found Elmendorf Lake. Lots of okay spots to fish but also lots of homeless folks, so if that makes you uncomfortable, that might be an issue for you. There is a pier but we visited in the summer it was so hot we couldn’t stick around on it very long. We didn’t catch anything but you might have better luck!

If someone says “ain’t much fishing here” they’re just getting skunked all day, fish the right spots and you’ll pull some bass from this park. The renovations this park has received has honestly been amazing, growing up in this area and seeing how it’s grown and become such a beautiful place, I recommend doing some fishing.

Beautiful park other than the bums and the dead animal in the lake. Hopefully they'll be able to clean up the shoreline and the bums that are living there.

Great place for walking, running,jogging, bicycling. Benches overlooking lake through out park. Grills, picnic tables through out the park. Well lit at night. Beautiful flowers, shrubbery, trees, palm trees. Beautiful landscaping, very pet friendly!! Great place to spend the day with family or friends. Well paved parking, Fishing piers, sidewalks. Renovated 2017!!
