All the naysayers on here commenting about getting snagged everywhere and loosing your tackle, hey that’s fishing yall. Also if your worried about the game warden then you shouldn’t even be out there fishing. Get your fishing license and be legal.Fish more and improve your fishing game. I’ve been fishing here for 15 years and it’s great! Very nice get away from all of the hustle n bustle from the city. Plenty of walking trails also. Parents go get a license and take your kids fishing and hicking, get them out of the city as well as yourself and indulge in Mother Nature.Put tackle boxes in the kids hands and not X-boxes.Good fishing to all.

It's a nice place, but the kids didn't like the fishing area because of the trees and their line getting caught in the rocks and trees. I'd like to give it another try because it has a bike lane and trails! The area is clean and is patrolled by HCSO!

I've cought some nice fish here, Big Eddy is loaded with catfish for people just learning to fish. I've also cought some big black bass in here not to mention that I've even cought reds back here in late late September early October.

Lots of newbies to fishing. People gather really close. But decent spots to target fish of choice.
