This lovely little lake in West Dallas attracts a surprising number of birds and wildlife. It's a haven for Red-winged Blackbirds, Cormorants, Mallards and occasionally Graylag Geese, as well as turtles and even a nutria or two. Local residents enjoy fishing in the lake, and a covered pavilion is a great place to enjoy a peaceful lunch.

This lake was great before they cut it off from the trinity river..in the 80s it had bass catfish sunfish etc... at one point you could feed a family out of the lake ..today it's a bass lake ...they even hold tournaments every so often...it a bunch of local fishers that hold it ...never know when unless your part of that circle...but I have alot of memories of this lake..

Lovely little treasure in West Dallas. Needs TLC from the City and the residents.

Pond is filled with trash. There are fish I just wouldn't eat any if you actually catch one.
