Worst lake I’ve ever been too. Water smells like sewer the campsites are not near the lake you have to drive to go to the designated swimming area. If you plan on camping next to the water don’t go here. We paid but didn’t stay.Go to San Angelo!

Slow paced atmosphere. Quality undervalued lake.

What a lovely place! So many picnic areas, all with their own views, and so easily accessible! The park personnel were awesome as well! Super friendly, welcoming, and informative!! My husband and I had such a lovely day checking the whole place out!! 1000% worth the $4 p/p admission fee!

One of the best parks I have stayed at. Everyone was helpful and friendly, lake was beautiful. Campsites were clean and well maintained. I will return next year.

My aunt lives here, it is a real quiet relaxing place that you can swim, jet ski etc if you want to buy it hasn't been too deep lately.
